Our Vines

Exceptional wines begin with exceptional vines.

Melrose vines are located on 150 acres in the Umpqua Valley near the town of Roseburg, Oregon. Our vineyards thrive on a two-mile stretch of bank on the South Umpqua River. In 2009, an additional 100 acres were planted approximately nine miles north of the main vineyard. Much of this new vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir grapes, the first harvest of which was conducted in 2011.

Driven daily to exceed his “grape expectations,” owner Wayne Parker is in constant pursuit of the most state-of-the art growing techniques.

Melrose Vineyards’ wines exemplify the dedication it’s taken to control our plants’ integrity and achieving balance. The result is premium, fruit forward, balanced wines that express the unique characteristics of the Melrose Vineyards terroir.
