Event Policies

Deposit

The Rental Fee is required as the deposit. Dates are not secured until payment is received.

Catering Services

Catering Services are provided exclusively by Melrose Kitchen. Menus are available for your review.

Catering services for children under 5 will be free. All other children will be billed at menu price.

Guaranteed Count

A finale guest count is requested 7 days prior to the event. After the count is given the amount may be increased but not decreased up to 48 hours before the event. In the event the actual guest count exceeds the guaranteed count, the customer will be billed for additional guests on a per person basis.

Minimum Purchase

Weddings, Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners and Private Parties are required to purchase a minimum of 2 cases of wine. Selection and payment are to be made prior to event.

Security

Melrose Vineyards may require an outside security service if an event exceeds 150 guests.

Wedding Rehearsal

Rehearsal must be coordinated as to not conflict with other events.

Payment

Payment for the guaranteed count is due prior to the event. Payment for additional beverages, guests or any other additional expenses is due at the conclusion of the event.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refund if notice is within 60 days of the event. Prior cancellation will result in the return of 1/2 the deposit.

Music Policy

Outside music may be played until 10:30. Melrose Vineyards reserves the right to decline any music which would be inappropriate for our facility.

Restrictions

No outside beverages are permitted on the property. All beverages being consumed at event must be purchased from Melrose Vineyards. In the event outside beverages are present, guests will be given warning OR Melrose Vineyards may end event.
No nails or tacks will be used on the Melrose Vineyards Barn structure.
No Fireworks are allowed on the premises.
No open candles are permitted. Use of candles requires advance approval.
No Bird Seed, Wheat or Rice are permitted to be thrown at event.
Melrose Vineyards staff reserves the right to refuse service to event guests.

Miscellaneous

Tasting Room remains open to the public during regular business hours.
Personal belongings are to be removed the evening of the event. Melrose Vineyards is not responsible for personal belongings.
It is understood that alcohol service is completed by 10:30 pm.
Property is to be vacated no later than 11:00 pm.
